This page explains what information OptionsAIX collects, why, and what we do (and don't do) with it. We've tried to write it in plain language rather than dense legal boilerplate — if anything's unclear, that's on us to fix.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address (used as your login), phone number, and first/last name, provided when you register.
• Profession and income bracket — entirely optional, asked only to help tailor default position sizes and risk suggestions. You can skip this at signup and clear it anytime from your Profile.
• Trading activity: paper trades you place yourself, and — only if you choose to go live — your own Dhan broker credentials (client ID and access token) and Telegram chat ID, so real order approvals can reach you.
• Usage and audit data: login attempts, actions you take in the dashboard, and basic technical logs, kept for security and troubleshooting.

What we don't collect

• We never see or store your Dhan account password — only the API access token you generate and paste in yourself, which you can revoke from Dhan at any time.
• We don't run ads, ad trackers, or third-party analytics scripts on this site.

How your information is used

• To run your account: authenticate you, show your own paper-trading portfolio and P&L, and (if configured) place real orders you've explicitly approved.
• To personalize defaults — e.g. suggested position sizing — using your optional profession/income answers.
• To keep the system secure — rate-limiting logins/registrations, detecting abuse, and maintaining an audit trail administrators can review.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-party services we rely on

A few pieces of OptionsAIX's functionality necessarily involve external services, each used only for the specific job described:

• Dhan (your own broker account) — market data and, only with your approval, order placement.
• Telegram — delivering trade approval requests and alerts to the chat ID you provide.
• Anthropic (Claude) — reading public news content to judge its likely impact on a stock; no personal account data is sent to this service.

Where your data lives

Account and trading data is stored in OptionsAIX's own database on infrastructure we operate — it is not distributed across third-party data brokers or ad platforms.

Your choices

• Update your profile, Dhan token, Telegram chat ID, or trading mode anytime from your Profile page.
• Clear your profession/income answers anytime — they're optional and were never required.
• To deactivate or delete your account, contact an administrator — this is currently an admin-assisted action rather than self-service.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. It's necessary for the dashboard to function and isn't used for tracking or advertising.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that affects how your data is handled, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
